So you know racing studs I sell are no joke.
Is that Amir's car, the guy who works for Avus Autosport and runs with ExtremeSpeed Track Events?

Just ordered the 90mm race studs from Ray. My E36 is using the old 75mm "standard" (aka "bargain") BimmerWorld studs that were originally on my ZHP. They've done fine but are 3.5 years old and had a few years of track days on them. Five of them have been installed 3 times (one wheel got a bearing change on the ZHP last year) and I was probably over-torquing them each time, which risks cutting into them with the hub threads and creating stress risers. Plus they are just barely long enough for 12mm spacers I recently tried. So time to upgrade them.
At my last track day I saw a guy lose a wheel and go off into the dirt. In his case he broke 5 extended lug bolts, not studs, but still don't want to take chances.

I think so. Bullet-nose race studs can be found both with smooth nose and with an allen key socket. The 82mm ones I have from BimmerWorld have a smooth bullet nose so you install them with a double-nut technique, Which is a bit of a chore but I've had some practice now having installed studs 3 times that way. (The first set I bought had 5mm or 5.5mm hex holes but not cut properly, so most of them could not be tightened with a hex wrench or socket.) I think the ones I'm getting from Ray accept an allen wrench. Which should greatly ease installation!
Ordered can't wait for it to come in.
