i used xpel ultimate film on the area the seatbelt hits. it scratched my cf arm rest before, but i just polished it and applied it and now it's good.
Figured it out. Very simple and clean fix. Simply get a set of seat belt stop buttons. Currently the seatbelts have these to prevent the buckle from sliding down. All I did was insert one more about three inches higher from the current one and it solved the problem.
