About to roll 130,000 miles
I purchased the car as CPO with extended warranty and maintenance on 05/21/2006 from Classic BMW in Plano, TX. It went out of extended warranty and maintenance in 4/17/09.
I have a binder full of receipts and records for the car, I also have the original window sticker somewhere.
Here is just a partial list of the maintenance history on the car. I can't express how much I mean by "partial" I omitted and threw away tire repair and replacement receipts as they do not really matter at this point and there are some missing I'm sure.

Summary
The Good
-2-owner car
-Adult owned (25-34)
-Properly maintained
-Low mileage for a 2003
-Car has spent most of its life under some sort of cover, garage(s) at home, shop at work and garage at school. For a red car of its age it has minimal (if any) fading and the interior has absolutely no fading.
The Bad
-Rear diff has a slow leak, it is not the input shaft nor the output shafts, it is just the rear cover
-Valve cover gasket is seeping up front again
The Ugly
-Has several door dings, I managed to keep the car ding free for 7 years then within the last year and half or two, I don't know what has happened. Just 1 ding seems like "several" to me, it is probably not as bad as I think.
-Front bumper has a crack near the passenger fog lamp, un-noticeable, but I want to describe the car 100% accurately
-Front bumper, hood and headlamp covers are pitted pretty bad, I don't like non-factory paint so I have never had this rectified.
The Pricing Strategy
I had planed to spend about $250 removing door dings by a PDR guy, dropping the suspension and rear end and re-sealing the rear cover and replacing the valve cover gasket. I had planned to spend about $250 making sure none of the OEM rims are bent, I have a feeling one is (front). I had planned to spend about $500 finding some good quality, but not new, tires for the OEM wheels. That's $1000. I had planned to remove and re-install the OEM taillights, side markers and corners, and selling the clear set. After selling the car I had hoped to recoup some of the money spent by selling the 19" VMR V710's on the car that I paid $2,300 for. They are not perfect, some rash, and the tires all have different mileages on them as a 3 of the 4 have been replaced at various points from road hazards. I had planned to ask $9500 for the car on OEM wheels. I had planned to wait until July to sell the car. If the two guys that have contacted me about the car, from NC and from TX are reading this, I'm sorry this is happening sooner than I thought. I have found my next car and I need to get rid of this car ASAP. I also have someone local interested, supposed to get back with me by Friday. With that book written I would like to offer the car with all of its good, bad and ugly on the VMR V710's with the OEM wheels in the trunk (keep, them sell them, whatever) for $9500. I will budge some, but not by much. Car will not have roof rack or halo's.
EDIT: I should note that the 19" VMR V710's cost me $2300 because they have pilot super sports on them. $265/ea rear and $235/ea front, these prices have come down from when I purchased them.

Wow. Fast. Awesome.
I'm defecting to electric, going to get an i3.
The potential new owner seems like a worthy candidate for this worthy car, has owned two e46's previously, at what length I'm not sure. Has been looking for a ZHP for about 6 months.

I'm not defecting on ZHPMafia, I promise!
But yes, going to electric. I expect to get harassed for it, so no worries, I'm prepared for it.
EDIT: At least I'm not one of those crazies in CA that are nuts about electrics and hybrids. I'm going to have a lot of fun going 0-30mph. lol

^ No worries (or too many hard feelings!). That thing does have some get up and go from a stop. Daniel had a demo car for a weekend and I got to try it out.
