ZHP Brandon's - Imola Project Thread

Ive been apart of this Forum for well over a year but I am now starting my maintenance thread
Reason being, I finally figured out WHERE it is exactly I was supposed to be posting any of my mods/or maintenance updates about my car which is embarrassing enough... LOL

    WARNING:

My post's will be very TEXT heavy to start this off of course - if you don't like reading lengthy stories... My apologies but I feel like I SHOULD say everything one shot, but since I can't speak to many of you in person - here is my story

My first post will be a lengthy one to just give a small synopsis on my own story with BMW(s)

Currently own a: 2004 Imola Red ZHP Sedan
    Black Cube Trim
    6-Speed Transmission
    Black Leather Interior
    Non-CWP

I have owned this car roughly about a 10.5 Months, I received the car April of 2015.

I purchased the car from a Volkswagen dealership in Pensacola, Florida
From what I remember the previous owner owned the car for about 6-7 Years. He traded the car in around a year ago, which was when I found the car on the internet & made my immediate purchase completely over the phone and via email lol

After losing my Black Sapphire Metallic ZHP sedan in a bad accident, I had to own another. I shipped my Imola Red ZHP from Florida in March and didn't receive the car until April.

When receiving the car I did NOT know how to drive Manual, I learned IN this car. I quickly developed that same attachment I had for my Black Sapphire ZHP, It took me all of 3 days to get a hang of it.

Finally got around to installing my Alcantara Shift Knob from Mike @CobyWheel & I must say.... Im in love with alcantara again

Safe to say the one in my car mustve been from day one back in 2004 when the car was shipped to Alabama lol, even the metal ring around the knob was chipping but it was facing my Navigation so I wouldve never known!

I cant wait to do the rest of my interior bits in Alcantara, this only makes me wish I had some kind of colored leather interior or Alcantara Heated Seats! lol

But here is the end result and I'm ecstatic!

A New shift boot is ABSOLUTELY necessary now lol

Questioning if mike could rewrap my crapply old ZHP Weighted shift knob, the one I bought isnt weighted... So just in case this one gets beat up fast, I can quickly just swap it for the other one.

If he can, I'll be doing the illuminated LED retrofit along side a new alcantara Wrap
