That's pretty original, to wash a car while raining. I always shammy mine afterwards in the garage anyway so I guess the only drawback is getting wet?

I had a fleece on. The water beaded off. Washing doesn't take long. Like 5 minutes. Then I shammied her dry after. All tucked away with a full tank waiting for the dry roads tomorrow to play on!

I put a set of new continental dw's on mine today. I'm now running a square setup with (4) rears with sized 245\35\18 all around. Feels wonderful!

Why can't you believe it? 3M double sided tape is some extremely strong stuff when you use larger pieces of it! Plus, the trim is super light, so you don't even have to worry about the weight pulling it off.

8 hour details... 5 minute car washes...
What am I doing wrong - I can't come even close to accomplish any of these timeframes. lol

A detail takes me almost 2 days and a car wash can easily be 30-50 minutes, depending on how anal I get...

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Sometime way back, if memory still serves me. There was a discussion and a thread to a link on how to replace the power steering reservoir and steering fluid replacement. I cannot seem to locate it so I can print the link. Thanks.

Found these in the Maintenance section by searching for "power steering" -

Haha I know what you mean, really depends on how anal you are about it(like you mentioned) but also if you're doing an exterior/interior/both detail. Some people use the word "detail" pretty loosely, so a 30min detail for one person might just be taking a damp rag to the interior of the car

Started yesterday afternoon and finished this morning, but e36 is now lowered on AC Schnitzer springs and Bilstein Sports. Changed the wheels to some 7.5 square DS2's.
