No worries Pat, thanks for the response though!

    Welcome to the site.
I hear what you say about forgetting that special feeling over time, but then you drive it, and you smile again. Solid car.

I'm probably going to have a shop do the head unit install- I'm currently considering the Pioneer SPH-DA120. I want an Apple CarPlay unit and was all excited about the Alpine ILX-007, until I realized there's no native Bluetooth functionality in that one. I'll take a look at that unit you recommended, though.

Thanks for the kind words about IR- that's how I ended up with a ZHP. I decided I had to have Imola Red, but I drove a couple of E46 M3s and honestly didn't like them- too stiff, shifter was too notchy, etc. I drove a local ZHP and it was just perfect, so I went looking for an IR manual transmission convertible. Little did I know at the time that only 190 were made (according to the production numbers thread). Talk about a unicorn.
    Pat,
Congrats on the IR vert with 3 pedals. I'm not sure of the numbers but when I went looking, I wanted the alcantara/cloth seats too and it was just dumb luck that I found one. My wife enjoyed it for 3 years and it now resides in NH with a guy who also bought my son's '06 ZHP coupe.

    Welcome aboard the board.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous E46 fanatic

Beautiful car. Welcome! I like the red and white tail lights vs the red and orange in mine.
