    That ZHP was never meant to stick around. It had some parts that I wanted, and my friend needed a car, so I bought it to get the LSD and various parts from it and then to sell it to my friend in a more stock form. It has already been purchased and registered in my friend's name.

    I will probably need to buy a second car for MY use at some point before I rebuild. Who knows what that'll be, but I have until next summer and to decide.

    With the ZHP sidelined until the bodyshop can get started on repairs I’m driving my old X3 again. Rolled over 100k last night. The E83 gets a lot of hate, but I still love them.

    I can't think of anything sad about it... It's a win-win-win scenario. Charlie doesn't have to worry about posting the car for sale and dealing with people who may waste his time, I get a bunch of parts I want, and my friend gets back into a BMW so I could drag him back to the track with me.

    Whoa I didn’t see this coming. I was expecting a new “Project Thread” soon and come to find out it’s been sold already? Why didn’t you just keep Charlie’s ZHP and sell your ZHP? Doesn’t your ZHP have 300K and Charlie’s had 200K? I thought your ZHP was burning oil like crazy and the gas mileage had dropped significantly?

    That car has a considerable amount of rust on it. Mine doesn't, so it wouldn't make sense to swap cars. Plus mine is a 2005, with auto wipers. Can't give that up.

    Unfortunately it's not the ideal car to keep because it's almost exactly the same as mine. For a second car, I want something different. It served it's purpose and now belongs to another caring owner.
