    Of course! Ask away!

It was fairly straight forward, I’d say the toughest point is removing all the foam backing from the headliner, power tools are great, but only at low speed as you can burn through the headliner pretty easily.

I have been thinking I should do the ZHP as well. Maybe I’ll record that and give a go at a DIY video.

The material came from yourautotrim.com and says it’s U.V. treated. I used foam backed on the headliner and no foam backing on the parcel shelf and pillars.

Replaced the latching/locking motor for the tonneau cover on my 'vert yesterday afternoon. It all started with a call from my wife on Friday....top wouldn't lock in the stowed position and then would not go back up. So, Saturday I spent a little time sipping coffee and reading up. Turned out to be the motor that pulls the cables to lock the cover. Typically the cables that do the latching are the culprit but in this case I was able to narrow it down to the motor that does the latching. Apparently the square shaft on the gear of the locking unit rounded out the plastic of the motor/gear unit that does the locking. Luckily it's a pretty common Bosch motor/gear unit and I found one on Advance Auto of all places. Having a $20 speedperk, it brought my cost down to $37.xx shipped. The motor arrived yesterday afternoon and within a couple of minutes I had the top working again!

I took them out of storage. I put 2002 and the Roadster in storage in Tampa last May. They are both running well. I had the Roadster checked out by a certified BMW mechanic, no issues. After some preventive maintenance, I will be shipping them both to Puerto Rico later this month.
