Stephen, thank you!
Aethir,
I used a shop vac, Terry towel, a steam cleaner and simple green (or any cleaner really) diluted 10:1 with hot water.
Use the shop vac to get all of the large dirt and debris up.
Spray cleaner liberally wait a few minutes.
Use steamer with nylon brush attachment to agitate carpet fibers. The heat + cleaner will break up the oils and stuff in the fibers.
Terry towel and elbow grease to dry up residual moisture and see the nastyness that you pick up.
Shop vac again to get any dirt particles that popped up during the agitation.
Add stripes when finished for that freshly detailed look. I used the shop vac nozzle, but anything that can lay the fibers in opposite directions will work.

I found a slick top Imola auto ZHP sedan for parts that I'm going to tear down.
Got the black cube trim and OEM Mtech2 front bumper yesterday.
Going back for the rear bumper, sides, maybe mirrors, and some other odds and ends.
What's the going rate now a days for a complete used OEM Mtech2 sedan kit?
I have the brake ducts. I was unaware the wheel liners were different.
Color is Imola Red.
Front bumper will need resprayed due to paint cracking in various areas and the lower splitters being scuffed up.
I'm gonna try to get back there Xmas Eve for the rest of the parts.
I know right. Kind of a shame. Not even wrecked. 200k+ miles. But something was off with it and the guy already pulled the engine and has it sitting over on the shop floor. He hasn't bothered to do anything else with it. I have the whole front core support in my shed because the bumper was still attached to it and he didn't want it all.
I didn't even think to ask what he'd sell the rolling chassis for since that's a bit more of a project that I want to get into.
Well this is semi unfortunate, but the other day I got myself a Christmas present- the Zhp’s replacement.
Wanted a mini for the longest time and with a small family the clubman made sense. Add the AWD for Westchester winters and it was an easy decision. I’m going to start buttoning up some things on the zhp and list it in the spring.
