Replaced the cracked windshield. I went with Safelite and happy with results.
The good news that my old rusty touring doesn't have any rust underneath all the gaskets. Plus, new windshield came with the new weather stripping around the perimeter.
All I need to do is to put a fresh coat of sealant on the windshield and my daily is back to the duty.

Treating the leather interior of my touring with Leatherique. It was "cooked" for almost 24 hours after rejuvenator applied. Next, is to clean it with Prestine Clean.

Buffed some minor scratches out of clear coat, refreshed headlight covers, then washed and waxed. Gotta get on that curb rash next...Name: IMG-2719 copy.jpg

Behind that glass looks great, sigh of relief for sure.

I know a lot of guys on here have done the leather rejuvenation and loved the results.

Fixing the curb rash will top it off, VERY clean car. I need to have my 135s refinished too.

Yes. I did it multiple times on my leather and like the results.

More European snobbery on my wagon. I doubt it will be used, but why not. Especially that I got this one for free.

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Sooo a few months ago I said I had a surprise and then I went silent because pretty women wanted to date me. Then pretty women told me to eat all the pizza and sugar with them, I got “fat” (not really), and pretty women then stopped dating me, so now I can focus on my car projects again .

I bought my friends ZHP 6spd coupe with a cloth interior. He hit a boulder that fell off a truck in front of him that caused the bags to go off, so I basically just replaced the bags and tire. I had a few friends drive it because I wanted to do FCAB’s and everyone who drove it said “don’t touch it, this is totally fine.” I’m just used to my solid mounted FCABs.

The outside is my idea of rough, and the bumped has some scuffs from the pothole. But the interior? The interior is stunning. The car is so quiet and runs great. The stock suspension (Bilstein shocks) is so plush along with the seats, I’ve enjoyed dailying it.

However, the money from this sale along with some other moves will bring me really close to the opportunity of buying a home. Which, as a millennial in California, I’m told I should’nt be able to . So I think it’s important to think big picture and sell the car. Pics to come

Of course, to fulfill that goal, I have to stop buying stuff. I just bought a 997 brake booster and a 997 GT3 master cylinder because I have no self control. I loved the feel when I drove a 997.2 C2S, and so naturally I have to bring it to the E46 and have Tim double check my engineering

Applied some Leatherique to let soak. Will reapply a few times over the next days while the weather's hot.

    Congrats!
Is that one of the Blues we got in USA?

Also, XDrive? Seems to be sitting taller…
