also sorry to hear; but there is a definite need for parts to keep these cars going - for instance, I'm having trouble finding a replacement gauge cluster (critical piece) to replace the melted one in my ZHP after a dash fire. No cluster = no car.

If you decide to buy back from the insurance company and part it, please let us know - I'll buy at least the cluster (and probably more.)

    Best wishes, whatever you decide.

Sorry. I went through similar with my son's ZHP. If you have the time, space, and ok inclination, you might make some scratch parting it out.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous E46 fanatic

    I have a non-ZHP cluster out of a pre-facelift coupe, if you're interested...

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

    Once again, to everybody
Thanks all for your concerns and input
I have come to the conclusion that I will accept the insurance company's settlement offer.
I wanted to report that after I challenged them on the apparent Performance Package item omission, they increased the settlement by a walloping $322 for the P.P. value. Yep, from a $3,900 sticker price.
Well, I guess that's better than a sharp stick in the eye........or ZERO.
Hope this helps someone in the future!
    Cheers everybody!
