Standard because the style matches the silver reflectors more when they’re off and the LEDs are all close and bright enough, you’ll barely see the individual light sources.

Opaque are a solid “sand blasted like” white around the ring so they’re a lot more highlighted in white when the halos are not on. But if you like a super uniform light spread then maybe that’s for you.

Crystal are closer style to F80/F10 angel eyes. Much more modern but the depth of the rings require dremeling the inside headlight trim to fit.

All ZHPs are high. It’s in their nature.

Every time I’ve seen this picture I have the same reaction: damn son that’s mean as hell!

I love amber/yellow/halogen angel eyes. Regardless of being “period correct” I just think they look better.

Sadly not recuperating as fast as I would like. Still on crutches and in more pain than last time.

    The bikes are as follows.
1980 Yamaha XS650. Kind of a rat build. That one is mine. Don’t know if I’ll ever be able to ride again, but I’m holding on to it just in case.

1981 Yamaha XS400. Build in a cafe style. Belonged to a friend who moved and had to leave it behind. It’s now mine too. Thinking about selling it since I have the title now.

1982 Honda Nighthawk. Was letting someone work on it in my garage when I was building the other 2. It’s a tracker style. Probably the dumbest bike to make one out of, but to each their own. I build the frame, made new trays, skins, and wiring harness and other related odds and ends. Then he stopped showing up after my back went out. I am about to have that one towed to his house and dropped off.
Sweet! I like the old bikes. I'd love to get my hands on an early CB750
Hang in there my friend! It took about 3 months for me to recover from my last back episode.
Hold on to that bike! I got rid of my dirtbike before I moved down here. I wish I still had it.

Stopped by the shop to drop off a piece of trim that came in yesterday. Happy with the heated seat progress. Should be ready today. Going to start sourcing the lower trim pieces to eliminate all that beige on the bottom. Door cars will be over the summer.

You doing a full proper factory 2-tone on that sucker? That would look so sweet, especially on Oxford.

Thanks guys! Super excited to not be freezing my cajones off when I get to my car every night.
Yes trying to get it as factory as I can. Technically, the beige lower dash won’t make it a factory look, but I always said if I was having the lower dash come out I make a full change over to cinnamon. Not having the heated seats was almost a blessing in disguise as the carpet is definitely one of those “while you’re at it” jobs. If the seats never had to come out I don’t know if I would have gone through the trouble of converting the carpet.
Once I get it back, which might be tomorrow, I’ll start sourcing out the lower trim pieces around the doors in black so I can complete the look.
I know beige on a zhp isn’t too common but if anyone is in need of non heated sport seats for an e46 project, let me know.
