The 1,200 for a full correction sounds about right if the paint has never been corrected before and depending on what level of perfection you're willing to accept in the finished product. If you ask the person who quoted you 1,200 if that's a 1 step or several step process, that could give you more info. If it's just a 1 step, then it's a bit steep considering the paint won't be over, say, 85% corrected. I'm pulling that number out of nowhere as a way to say there is no one step correction that will get your paint to above 95% corrected.
