    Shift knob anyone?

So I didn't listen, got a cheap M Shift knob from eBay from China, and

    1. Leather is so thin and not secure it's like a loose skin over the knob, horrible shifting experience
    2. Just 2-3 months in the hot Florida sun, the top plastic gear diagram glue comes loose in really hot weather when inside tree car reaches 120F - 145F ... I basically have to hold it there until the AC kicks on and or solidifies again.

If anyone has one they are selling LMK... If not LMK the best sources for lower price or should I get get a wooden one and be done with it... Although the feel of thick soft leather is really nice.

You could FCP one and just warranty them as they wear out. But with proper care and maintenance, they last pretty long - mine still looks like the day I bought it after 3 summers of sweaty hand use. I clean & condition the leather on the knob (and on the steering wheel) every few weeks and both still retain a nice matte finish

Personally I prefer the BMW Performance one. It's aluminium so it doesn't wear out. Also matches nicely with the BMWP handbrake. You can grab both at FCP.

I wouldn't mind but in Florida I fear half the year I won't be able to use it unless I put those sun window blockers all over or else I'll be touching a branding iron.

    Can't beat OE ZHP

    https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-Inte...7-896-886.html

    Looks like it's
$85 at Bimmerworld and you're supporting BMW racing enthusiasts
$83 at ECS but you're supporting ECS
$95 at FCP and you can warranty it when it wears out but it'll last a while if you don't wear your cheese graters society ring on your right hand
