Stu, I'd rather get my money back if possible, the rears have no lip and were supposed to have 3" + besides that the face of the wheels sticks out past the tires on the front, they just don't look right, and look nothing like any picture of any F14F on the Internet.

Bruce, thanks for the phone call, I will take you up on your offer :). Very kind of you and Preston.

So come home tonight, Preston's car is in a garage slot washed & waxed, wheels beaming, and he sheepishly asks -- dad, if the wheels fit do you think K-Pro would let me drive her car? I told him all he had to do was ask.

Kristen, BTW, I ran some offset/wheel width/tire size calculations today and these wheels should stand very proud on your 135, think you're going to like it a lot.

Finally have my stuff packed and the bimmer taped up for the journey. Took longer to tape than I expected it would. Driving up to meet my buddy in the morning. Ah!! Excitement!! Will take pics of tape job as I know he and I will be the only two who see it. Other than the massive amounts of traffic I will be encountering tomorrow.

Time for bed. 8 am comes early today lol

Does anyone coming down have pasoft 1.4.0?

That's apparently what I need to get my car running.

She's not gonna make it to the meet, but afterwards we can swing by my house and do some coding.

I have it, however I will have a passenger with me that has another 1 hour to drive home after I get home, so I'd have to consult with him before I volunteer. How far out of the way is your house?

Hate to break the news late like this, but I'll be a no-show for the show. Had two employee's decide to take vacation time and as team leader it would have left just one person in the office, and things are too crazy in the bldg. to stick anyone with that chore.

So one less 1 M in the lot. I think there's supposed to be 10 or 11 other 1 M's.

Anyway, looking forward to the pics and posts from you folks that make the gig.

Wait 'til next year. :)

One series owners are arguably the most serious modders in the marque. Crazy to see what they come up with sometimes.

There was definitely 1 other 135is, a vert in Lemans/Black. I saw what I thought was another one from a distance in Alpine, but I didn't confirm it was an IS. There were a bunch of 1Ms there, several of them wrapped in odd colors. One was plastidipped a hideous blue. There were several 135s. All in all, I'd say the E82 was well represented.

Just so you guys know, I expressed my dis-satisfaction about the group parking to Tim at BimmerFest.

I thought their lack of organizational skills on two fronts was honestly impressive -- on the one hand, the total lack of group parking even though that was the entire point of group parking, and on the other hand, the fact that this massive parking lot has NO exit except the entrance which had double lanes of traffic going IN for the first 3.5 hours of the event.

I asked the parking dudes where the exit was, and they said, "I don't know." Then they proceeded to stop traffic for everyone who wanted to exit. hahahaha

It was great seeing you guys. I enjoyed seeing so many BMWs. We left around 2 PM, but regained energy after lunch and went back. I am glad we did. I saw a pretty nice looking 1974 2002. It was for sale. I talked to the owner a while; he offered to let me drive it...I did. Kinda rough handling, but I enjoyed it. I had expected to see more vintage cars. M3s were a dime a dozen; no joy in that.

One of those parental things I found out belatedly during Bimmerfest, Preston has a badly broken hand (he was slower than molasses when we changed wheels), it seems some other kid's face/head ran into his hand a week earlier. (No, didn't ask how/why nor do I need the details.). He's going to have surgery Monday, some pins will be put in his hand to reset it, then a cast for 4 weeks.
