This is even a tough one, for this southern boy. Went through downtown Huntsville on the way home to avoid traffic AND NOTHING. Took a ride to TSC in North Huntsville tonight AND NOTHING. Coming home, went past my exit on the parkway and by Jones Farm AND NOTHING but, some scrawny stuff in high traffic intersections. Continued up and over the mountain and back around the Big Cove AND NOTHING. By that time it was to dark for pictures anyway.

Maybe I’ll catch the botanical garden on the way home tomorrow before skating threw the ghetto to get to the good side. [emoji849]

Woohoo!! And thanks :). Getting him to sit still long enough was a challenge haha. He's 6 and still thinks he's a puppy.

Next challenge: Your car next to your favorite import car. European, Japanese, Korean..... Australian. Doesn't matter as long as it was built in another country. So... DSMs are right out. The ZHP can't be used as the "import" in question for this challenge.

Also, if you've imported an Aussie car, call me. We need to be friends.

Could have got this last night. Took a ride to the drugstore and couldn’t get home.

Police, fire and EMS had my street blocked off. There’s been some kind of areal work going on at or behind one of the houses were they where. They took someone out in a stretcher. Probably one of the workers because, my wife saw one of the other worker guys crying.

Still don’t know what happened.

I've been getting my practice in with the stock downpipes in the car. Trying to go through a few drive cycles (have to stay below 3k rpms and under 60mph) until my sensors ready and I can get these dumb fucking cats out of this car. It sounds like shit right now, stage 1 tune, metal on metal rattle at idle and over bumps. The turbos make this weird laser gun being discharged noise when I get off the throttle. I've been temporarily castrated by the government.

Hopefully Monday I'll get the AR pipes back on and you bet your ass I'm switching to the psycho tune Kristen was running when I bought it.

The front straight has a bend at the start/finish line which always kept me from pushing it too hard, but people carry some serious heat down the front into T1. Hauling down the straights is fun, but I think the corners are what make it so enjoyable.

It could be the blowoff valve with the extra back pressure from the stock cats but I'm not sure. It makes less turbo noises now.

I know it has a different mid pipe too, which might have something to do with the sound.

Either way I'm so ready for the car to be back to it's normal middle finger to the EPA self.

I don't know the limits of this car as well as the ZHP, so I'd be nervous really pushing it. But I think the best place to learn is on the track where I can focus on the car and the road instead of idiots around me and the cops setting up a speed trap.

For this to qualify as a big pothole, you should be able to put a standard size basketball in it and have half of it covered by the pothole. Note, the basketball should not be in the picture, but instead be used (in your mind) as a reference for the scale of the crater. Be sure to include something in the picture to signify how much you hate that crater. P.S. - please don't drive into the pothole... unless you want to, of course.

As someone who has always been a big fan of American muscle cars (and used to own one) I’d like to see;

Your ZHP toe-to-toe with (or as close as you can get to) an American muscle car from the 60’s. Mustangs, Camaros, Chevelles, GTOs, etc.. An acceptable substitute would a be kit car such as an A/C Cobra replica. Bonus points if it’s the same color as your car! :)

I have a neighbor with whom I’ve never spoken who owns a first generation Mustang (I’m guessing a ’67-‘68). It’s dark green, not sure if it’s technically Dark Highland Green Ã* la Bullitt, but it looks close. If I ever see him I’ll try to knock this out.

Labor Day: What it Means

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

So - in tribute to all the hard workers who continue to make this country great, the challenge is:

Your car with some celebration of Labor Day (like a parade, a parade float, a marching band, a decorated farm tractor). Even your car in a parade?

well, Labor Day has come and gone........ Can I change the challenge to something more reasonable?

Normally, you would have to answer your own challenge. If you have a pick that you think fits the scene and was taken after the challenge was initiated, then you have 2 weeks before "claiming a win on your own challenge", and posting that pic. You would then post a new challenge.

There is no rush, you could also keep an eye on the thread and wait the 2 weeks for others to post.

I guess the time-sensitive nature of the challenge may have made it tough to respond to. Also, interpretation of your challenge sometimes will pop up in those 2 weeks. One could take a picture of car in front of a crew of working men and women on a job site and could post it here (hint).

I suggest you wait a tad until the 14 days are over.

No pressure game.
