Hey yall. Been a while since I've posted. Got the ZHP in the garage for the winter mods and I started with a little rough draft of a project. I am ordering carbon fiber engine covers for the M54, so I decided to mess around a little with the stock engine covers.
I love mono-colored schemes. My car is Sparkling Graphite Metallic, so I went with white, silver, a carbon grey, and gloss black. I used the //M logo as my motivation and went from there. I used Dupicolor Engine Enamel and a lot of different sandpapers to get the look I wanted. There is still mask-off tape on the covers, so pardon them, but the paint looks pretty cool! I probably won't use them being that I want to use the carbon ones, but I'm not mad at this project!
If I'm being honest, I have the M stripes painted in the corner wall of my room. I'm a purist.
