LCMs with SW 4.0

Alright folks... I finally got these. All of these are LCMs with SW 4.0. I have auto or non-auto faceplates, so I can include whichever you need. I will program them to your VIN/mileage so that you don't have to worry about any tamper dot issues, also I can do any coding you would like.

These are all US LCMs though, so they will not support the rear foglight.

One is already sold, but the other two are up for grabs.

As soon as you confirm you want one, I'd like to get 30 minutes of phone time with you so that I can program/code and we can discuss options to code into the LCM. From there, I will ship via USPS Priority Mail.

Price for each is $200 shipped

Yes lets talk! Perhaps it would help people if you refreshed our memories on what these could do. Remind me again of the abilities of these LCMs with coding? Is it the staged brake lights like you showed in your video? I really want that.

Most interesting feature for the most recent LCM (4.0) is triple blink for lane changes.

Euro hazards, "trifecta" lights up front, other little stuff too.

This really isn't true. It just takes recoding to get a US LCM to support rear fogs (on a sedan; for coupes/verts, the rear fogs are enabled by default). The recoding is no more difficult than switching a coupe LSZ to work with a sedan or vice versa

Well true. I should've said, they won't support the rear fog without the UK faceplate. I actually have this same LCM in my car with the rear fog because I swapped faceplates with a Euro one. Good catch!

Just got mine. Cant wait to put it in tomorrow and try out the (electronic) toys. Unfortunately it gets dark early so I will have to work in the dark, but It should be as simple as prying off the cube trim piece and then unscrewing the old LCM, right? shouldn't be too difficult with my nerdy/trusty Black Diamond headlight :D

Also, can I put my current faceplate on the new one without any issues? It looks like its just held on by tabs. If it doesn't matter which one is used I might switch them out depending on the condition of each (sun fading, etc.)

Yes its that easy, and yes you can swap the faceplates. Just press the tabs on the side of the LCM to pop out the faceplate and unclip the connector.

Got to use it today. Really takes some thought after years of pushing the stick past the "notch" to activate the blinkers. I do like it.
