This was the same car that was listed on craigslist not that long ago needing a clutch. Then it was sold and a new clutch put in it. Current seller is some young guy that buys them and flips them for a profit.

Here is the thread. Asking price was $8k so this guy sees a decent profit.

I was considering this car but didn't react fast enough.

Nothing against making a profit but just wanted to let people be aware that the current owner just buys and resells right away.

I too am a big fan of free market, just don't want a family member to get ripped off.
