Hi there…

Last week I bought a Technique Tuning ZHP that was posted on e46fanatics. The PO McSpeed did a great job on the car and I'm excited to help this car continue on! It passed its PPI and compression check, so I drove over to CT to pick it up and bring it back to MI. The car is awesome - Nick G from Technique Tuning sells a good kit, the car drives great. Maintenance-wise, the car needs a new diff bushing and I plan on doing a coolant system overhaul soon… nothing major at all. Hopefully I can take it out to a few track days next summer - the LSD will be great for that! Once I get more familiar with the car I may add some additional mods (kw v2, cat-back exh), but only time will tell.

Latest dyno from the PO on 93RON was ~305 whp

But when the kit was originally installed, and the engine was run on 100 octane, it was closer to 327whp/310ftlbs

It was suspected there was some knock spk retard limiting power on pump gas, I am gonna pick up a cheap netbook and have a galletto cable on order to see if i can learn anything. I figure i'll use BMWlogger and try to get a better idea what's going on. Also i think the Innovate wideband needs a re-cal.

note the dyno differences… once i become a little more comfortable with the car and have a few things sorted out I'll probably get a few pulls to see where it stands on a third dyno. maybe not until spring

Over 300 to the wheels means you can hang with or pull on E46 M3's (depending upon gearing and reaction times). Very nice!

Yes, I believe the PO said he had walked on e46 M3s, 335is, and was able to hang/slightly pull on a new e9X M3 (all rolls). :biggrin
