I hope he bumps the price and gets what the car is worth.

Holy cow, that is waaay too cheap indeed. Someone's lucky day I guess.

Did he pin stripe the car?

The seller and I already worked everything out so I should have it in my possession by Monday.

I actually got rid of it two weeks ago. I've been meaning to make a post but I kept forgetting. I was supposed to get into an M3 but the guy sold the car after we already had everything worked out. Glad I came across this one though.

Went to check it out earlier today and it is ridiculously clean and drives like a charm. My parents will be picking it up tomorrow since I had to head back up to Orlando since I have class this week so I probably won't get to drive it for another two weeks when I go home for winter break.

Oh nice. So you went from Evo to M3 to picking up another ZHP? Lol, you sound like me. Congrats on the pickup though man, you got a steal.

Yeah haha. I think I'll hold on to this one a bit longer.

Thanks Joop! You gotta hit me up when you get home and I'll pass by again on one of my trips down.

Lucky you, man. It is indeed a $13 - $14K car, and you got a steal.

I am glad a Mafia member snatched it though.

Enjoy.

You should add your new car to the registry. http://www.zhpregistry.net/ViewVInfo.aspx?vin=WBAEV53434KM06980

Yeah, I'm still surprised I was able to snatch it.

Unsolicited 2 cents: If you still have a chance, do a PPI.

I didn't and pulled the trigger immediately when I found a few months back a rare AW listed on our site with a long list of maintenance. Seeing that maintenance and discussing with the seller, who is a member of our site, gave me comfort that I don't need to anything right away other than the regular fluids, battery and spark plugs; so, took a risky step of purchasing the car unseen!

Car is fantastic to drive but I was surprised to pay > $2.5k to my indy shop to replace many important stuff (like front struts, front cba, rear differential seals etc). Since these are investments that are needed and will last for over 50k miles, I am not bothered by it but its something I wish I had some warning about before I paid for the car.

But then, my car had 120k miles on it when I go it, and the above probably is not applicable to you. :) Just be on the watch.

Good luck and hope you enjoy the beauty. The AW sure makes heads turn wherever I take it to and have received many compliments so far. :)

Thanks for the advice. I had my BMW certified mechanic go over it when I went to look at it out the other day. Everything checked out. Clutch grabs strong, pulls & shifts smooth, no funny noises, etc. It had a decent list of things replaced under the CPO warranty which finished in 2010 or 2011. The only thing it needs soon are rear tires in about 2k miles and rear brakes in about 10k miles or so.
