I'm curious if anyone has done a color change (other than black) on their OEM ZHP wheels.http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/album.php?albumid=133&attachmentid=11694

I remember somebody going with gunmetal a few years back. That might have been the one.

I'd like to see pictures of that, would hide a lot of brake dust.

I've gone to a metallic gunmetal colour on mine. Brake dust just makes them look more "matte" and reduces the sparkle. I'm quite happy with the outcome.

Gunmetal looks really good, it's subtle and shows more of the wheel architecture than the black.

^ yup. My car came with black wheels and you couldn't see squat. Promptly swapped them out for stock ones.

Plastidip is a quick easy way to see if you like a color. #dontbeahater

The Gunmetal does look good. It would match the SGM pretty good also. So how well does it hold thou?

Mine were only done in August 2013. I did have them professionally "remanufactured" (ie curb rash and bends from previous owner repaired in addition to the repaint) by P Jacques in Montreal, who have done excellent work for me in the past.

How much did it run you again ? Oh and you ditched the 335i project ? :)

Reman was around $700.

Yup, 335 project is DEAD. Decided to stick with what I have (for now?!?)

How's your car enjoying winter?
