Just wanted to say hello. I bought a 2006 ZHP Coupe a couple of weeks ago with 57,000 miles. It's silver with black alcontera interior and black trim. What an awesome car! The weather has been so lousy this month, I haven't driven it but a few times and have not taken any pictures yet. I'll post some as soon as I can. I'm enjoying the website and I'm looking forward to seeing what everybody is doing with their cars.

I went to college in Dayton :)
Anyways, no. I'm NEO BMWCCA, just outside Cleveland.
There are a ton of BMW people around Dayton and Cincy though, including Dane.

Thank you for the welcome. Now, can somebody explain to me what "sharked" means in terms of BMWs? I see this reference every so often. Thanks in advance.

There is a performance tune called the Shark Injector by Jim Comforti, so those that have it are "sharked".

Did you buy the silver one from Enthusiast Auto?

>Oli77, excellent photo! Just out of curiosity, do you service your car at Motorsports of Lexington? Has anybody bought or serviced their cars at Enthusiast Auto Group in Cincinnati? I felt a little more comfortable buying from them because they know BMWs. If you haven't been there you won't believe the number of "M" cars they have on hand. While I was there looking at this one they sold two M3s within an hour or so.

Nope, I take it to German Auto in Lexington. It's a no-thrill dank place but the price is right and the knowledge is excellent. I have heard of the enthusiast auto in Cinci, looks like a power house.

That one worked. I want to know how your car is so clean on that muddy/icy road?

Okay, now I think I understand this. Taken yesterday with a break in the weather! It's snowing again by the way.....

It's a little park around the corner and I was only about 50 feet from the road. I actually had gotten stuck a little further up ahead and pushed it back out. These things definitely need winter tires don't they?

Pictures do not do this car justice. The car is perfect. Everything from EAG is in excellent condition and well maintained.

That's the reason I fuss about the weather so much! I'm not going to risk trashing it in marginal conditions. I WANT TO DRIVE IT! I have plans to go to the Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance in a month. Hoping against all odds that I can drive it there. I understand one of the 3.0 CSL art cars are going to be there. Anybody else planning to attend?

For sure, you need snow tires if you're out daily driving it in the snow/slush... Check out the dirty winter car thread. Bet you all these guys have snow tires on. I tried without the first year and realized there was no hope without them.

Yes, they need winter tires.
My E82 is fitted with Michelin Ice-Xi3s and performs outstanding...besides the fail diff (that needs to change)
Be safe...suppose to get 10" up here now
