Hi all,
It has been a while but we recently found that there was no hot air in my newly purchased ZHP. No bueno being in the Midwest with all of the cold we have had. We took it to European motorsports and they said it was blowing at highway speeds but other than that nothing? Any ideas what this could be before we rip out the dash?:eyetwitch

Could be your thermostat is stuck open. Does your coolant temp ever get to its operating temperature?

Could also be that your cooling system needs to be bled to get rid of air bubbles.

Coolant is fine and I think they bled it... Still persisting

I feel obligated to ask the obvious... not meaning this as insulting, just have to check. Your little temp dial between the two middle dash vents is set to the 3 red dots, right?

Does your car get up to temp?

If the FSR is good and the car is getting up to temp I'd look at the heater (water) control valve.

Do a search over at e46fanatics. There are so many threads with HVAC issues. I am sure you will find a solution in one of those threads. I was recently browsing that topic out of boredom. If I recall correctly, the flapper doors only control where the air is going. Heat is only controlled by the heater valve.

Damn. Sounds like you've covered all of the normal and easy to access causes.

Yeah I am really nervous about needing to rip out the dash. Not cool.
