Car in question: 2004 ZHP sedan
I need help choosing between the 3 types of bi-xenons shown here on real OEM: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...29&hg=63&fg=05
Choices are:
-AL
-AL/ TITAN
-ZKW (Maybe ZKW has fixed the burnt reflector problem, and they are safe to purchase now...?)
Which pair do I go with? TheBMWPartsStore has them for $800 a side, so I am going to get them ASAP.
Thank you!!

Link doesn't work. I wouldn't risk going with ZKW again.
Never heard of AL/TITAN, so I'm not sure what that is, but AL is always a good choice.

AL/Titan is the silver trim inside the headlight. :)
The AL is the one you want if you have black trim headlights.

I do remember there is another option:
Magneti Marelli. They make the xenons for AL which in turns supplies them to BMW.

According to Steve (Sna77)
anyone who has access to worldPac can order the pair for $1k total.
Why not just get a retrofit done?

+2, unless the current existing light housings are damaged/missing.

I replaced with AL for the sheer reason its RnR. :)

Those Magneti's look great!
They are THE SAME as the AL ones listed on realOEM?
Any issues with burnt globes like the ZKWs?
Maybe I should stick with the AL's just to be safe...

AL's don't have the burnt bowl issues all ZKW headlights have.....you can't go wrong going with AL's :thumbsup

Ok - if I don't get any more opinions on the Magneti's by tonight, I'm gonna buy in confidence and go with the AL's to be safe.
Thanks amigos.

You really are way better off doing a retrofit. Ship your lights to LightWerkz and you will end up paying HALF (possibly less) for a superior headlight setup than any E46 OEM headlight. Trust me on this.
