New ZHP Mafia Member

Hello Mafia,
I wanted to log on and introduce myself and my ZHP. It is a 2004 with black sapphire metallic paint and the black alcantara fabric interior. The car was purchased in July of last year in Florida and then I drove across country to Los Angeles, up to Seattle and then to Colorado Springs. In a few months I am hoping to add a few items to it to improve its handling and other areas.

Looking to being part of the community as I have registered it on the ZHP Registry and joined the Mountain Rocky chapter of BMWCCA.

This is not my first BMW, as I had a 1994 325i that had 188,000 miles and I decided it was time to get something newer. The 330i is a lot more refined but the 325i was a lot more fun to toss around. The 325i also had some work done to it.

Welcome. Beautiful ZHP! I agree that the ZHP/E46 platform is more refined then the E36, but the E36 is more toss-able. Nonetheless, hope that you do enjoy your ZHP.

Thanks for the reply's. The car does has some minor issues like having two different aftermarket kidney grills that will have to be replaced as both don't fit very well. It also has several scratches where really nice people decide to open their door into my car, both fog light glass are cracked and the wheels have some curb rash. The cross country drive was pretty cool as I had about 3 months between jobs and decided to see some people while I had the time off. Overall, the car has performed very well except for a cooling issue that happened last month.

Stop by this Saturday, we are meeting in Littleton this time, but do a lot of meets in the Springs, be good to see another ZHP at the meet. The cooling system is notorious just make sure you replace the expansion tank, hoses, water pump etc.
