E46 BMW 330 ZHP Version of Where's Waldo

I always park far from other cars, but there is a subconscious fear that it would make my car a bigger target for theft. Anyone else share that concern?

We're never guaranteed anything where ever we park. It could be the only spot within 1 mile and still get bird bombed or have people who want to park next to you just because. LOL. I've just learned to not Waldo park and blend in with everyone else. I've never had an issue in 8 years doing that. But then if we all did what I do, there'd be no Waldo Parking thread! So guys keep doing what you're doing if it works! LOL

I park on my manager's spot when she is out. It's a good one, as you can see. But, I prefer to leave my BMW at home whenever possible. Somebody hit my bumper in this same garage the other day. Why risk it happens again ?

The only "Waldo parking" incident for me happened in Wal Mart. I still had my e46 and parked away from the crowd, as usual. When I came back I found fresh bubble gum on the top of my rear bumper. No damage, no biggie. But I still wonder why the lack of respect ?

Ok-- so most of us do it. When it comes to parking our cars, we strive for a position of tactical advantage.

We remove any threat of swinging car doors by parking somewhere that either cuts in half or totally precludes the chance of someone parking next to us.

I parked at the back of the Costco lot where it was completely empty around me when I went inside. Came back out to find a new "friend" right next to me despite all the other empty spots. I dunno, maybe he had the same idea as me and figured we would be careful around each other's car?
