Wow, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am very excited to see the friendliness shown here that is rarely seen on other forums!
Thanks for the compliments. I am quite fond of this beautiful green color as well. I have heard that this color is a bit rare. I was lucky to find the paint in as good as condition as it is. I have had a bit of a sour taste for this car though because the amount of money I have needed to invest to get her like new again. I have owned it for about a month and have over $4k invested in repairs to this thing. The list of replaced items include: front struts, valve cover gasket, expansion tank and connected hoses, power steering hoses, oil filter housing gasket, tensioner and idler pulley's, window washer tank, crankcase valve and connected hoses, transmission oil pan gasket and filter, trim pieces for both fog lights, both front lower grill inserts, both new fog light housings, rear tow hook cover, both projector bowl assembly's, and re-upholstering the front seats because of cracked and worn leather. I am currently around 140k miles. I am really hoping that it will be a great, reliable car now that I had this thing combed through and all the issues repaired with oem BMW parts.

Welcome to the Mafia. Car does look great in that color! Yes, your list sounds basically on-par for E46 maintenance/repairs. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy driving her for a bit before having to spend more $ keeping her in top shape. If you have maintenance questions, please ask us.

Welcome. Your zsp looks great! I also have a zsp in topaz blue and have a similar story about maintenance, but mine has been reliable with the occasional issue here and there having to be addressed. You'll find that this community is very helpful as well as professional too.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome.
I do on occasion get up north. Me and the family have a timeshare in Park City that we usually stay at the end of September and I usually have my VA doctor appointments up there as well.
So far, she has been doing good. I do like to do my own repairs when possible so I will definitely be using the heck out of your guys/gals knowledge.
I forgot to mention that while I was in the U.S. Army, I had a chance to go live over in Deutschland for four years. I bought and owned a gorgeous 2002 M3. Ever since then, I have loved BMW's and have been trying to find one within my budget for the last few years. Thankfully, I found this one in which the guy was interested in the Audi A4 B5 I had for sale and we were able to work out a trade/cash deal. Upon visual inspection, she really did look like a charm but after completing the deal, I had my local BMW mechanic comb it over and ended up with all these needed repairs. I am a firm believer in taking care of the problem instead of putting it off because they tend to be much more expensive when it is put off. When I do my own repairs/upgrades, I tend to take a lot of pictures so I will be sure to share my experience and info of what I did with lots of pics.

Beautiful car, and you seem to have done most of the typical maintenance items on the car. Hopefully you'll get some trouble-free motoring out of the car now!
BTW, I had the opportunity to drive the western US (Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Azizona, Nevada, California, Idaho) on a big road trip while living in Saskatchewan. Beautiful part of the country you live in!!
