Hey everyone, currently working on acquiring a ZHP. I had an 08 535xiT that almost burned me out on BMW altogether, but it was an awesome car despite the issues. Hoping to find a ZHP to daily drive (occasionally with the kids in the back) and take to the local autocross.

Howdy. What was the beef with the 535?

Vanos issues (expected) and then the oil level sensor (no dipstick on the E61) went bad while on a roadtrip. Cost about $1500 to get that fixed. It had about 85k on it and was just starting to have issues, sometimes it wouldn't start randomly, the tailgate stopped working, etc.
