That's weird, is it repainted? First off I don't recognize the color (only a certain selection for Z1). The thing that is really throwing me off is the underside of the hood should be exposed Kevlar, IIRC

I'll go look at Carl's car tomorrow and verify (top right)

The hood is OE and exactly as it should be (plastic).
