Derek, I'm surprised to see that your performance rotors haven't completely sold yet...looks like you have a buyer if you can just hold out long enough though...:thumbsup

Well in the meantime, they are just sitting underneath my work desk. They have been sitting since I bought them in 2011 anyways. I'm in no immediate rush to sell them right away.

ECS sells them for $387 + shipping. Roughly across the coast would cost $50bucks to ship. If anything price is also negotiable. :)

Spares are always a good thing JR. I had 3 pairs for god sakes.. I never changed my first one. The guy that bought my 135i brakes said the runout on the BMWP that came with the kit is 0.9mm. LOL That is insane considering they were tracked on.

Derek, no I am not willing to take the rotors if and when the second local buyer does not pay. Twice now I thought we had a deal and you backed out. Shipping a set of rotors is not that darn difficult.(Oh my, you needed to get a box) Sorry for being a butt, I follow through with deals I make.

At least you are honest, although I think its crap. I have only had two interactions with actual people from this site. You, who I think it is known how I feel, and the administrator. He was very rude in informing me that you could not use a Hotmail email to sign up, after looking back I see that I did not read far enough, but why be rude. I swear when I first found this site, some slogan about being the nicest/friendliest/most helpful zhp site caught my eye, I have not found this to be the case.

@2005zhp,

Is your Hotmail address runouteast@hotmail.com by chance?

If it is, here is a screen shot of the email I sent (I'm not sure how it was rude, but maybe you're a super sensitive guy). If you are a super sensitive guy, I humbly apologize and want you to feel confortable here at zhpmafia.com.

Please understand that I get dozens of requests to join my site, every day, from people who refuse to read the instructions. I could instead never send an email, and just delete the account for failing to comply?

Do you guys think my email was rude?

Not rude. I find Flickr more rude for allowing me at one time to sign up with google and then making me get a yahoo account to keep using it because they want to increase yahoo mail usage now.

At least you informed about the site never working if using a hotmail account. Otherwise he'd been hung out to dry.

When you signed up....the directions specifically told you to NOT use a Hotmail address.

Not quite the same feeling as your other reply but that's just my opinion. Uppercase use is generally considered as speaking strongly and there is no sign of a please, thank you or anything else I would take as being considerate.

danewilson77
06-09-2014, 10:44 AM
Right. That did have a bit of a harsher tone. You may have been #20 of the guys providing hotmail addresses that day.

Please and thank you? You're starting to Crack me up now. Sensitive and comedic.

Anyways, I digress. I apologize if you were taken aback, offended, or otherwise displeased with my response. We all have area's that we (I) need to get better at.

I've already beat the other sites in the friendly category. You'd have been booted hours ago anywhere else :)

Now get back to work you super busy worker guy!

Please don't make the mistake of expecting people here to use please, thank you, and smileys in all of their responses. It's damn near impossible to gauge emotion in a typed response. Don't read into it.

I, too, thought Dane's responses could be a little cold at times, but the fault was mine for thinking it was for some specific reason other than the fact that it's simply how he writes.

It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."

Forgive my ignorance, but with so many choices of rotors out there, what make these more desirable? I actually need rotors all the way around currently. So I am in the market... and now I may need to buy Oreos, thanks.

johnrando
06-11-2014, 06:56 AM
LOL. You can save a ton of money and just use standard rotors and be just fine. These are more for bling for street driving. For tracking, they dissipate heat better, especially after heavy repeated use. As far as the Oreos, we do happen to have some in our cabinet that I could send. :)

Ha...I sorta figured as much and at this point, even though I'd LIKE to show some slotted/drilled bling on my car....it's gonna have to wait. I've been looking/waiting for a great deal or group buy on brakes.

I'll pm you about the oreos!!! lol
