Has anyone attempted to swap the drivers side handle for a lateral sun visor from a Mini?

For whatever awesome reason, my Mini has a sun visor in place of the pull handle.

Has anyone attempted to swap one over? How do I take the handle off to measure the mounting points?

Problem is the sun visors in the MINI are fucking useless. Why would you want that??? lol.

That being said, a solution to block both the side window and the top of the windscreen would be nice for those days where the sun falls right on the A pillar and keeps switching as the road turns.

The lateral visors are awesome, so much better than having to swing the normal one back and forth.
