I drove this car last Fall, it has a fairly heavy history of maintenance receipts, the owner was a regular at a local Indy (RRT) who wasn't shy about charging him lots of money. The owner told me the car does have a problem with its steptronic tranny, when cold you have to shift it manually for the first 5 minutes until the tranny fluid warms up and then after that it shifts fine automatically. When I test drove it the car was already warm so I did not experience this situation first hand. I tried to talk him into doing a tranny fluid service to see if it would help remedy the problem but he had already bought a new BMW and was not going to spend any additional money on this one. Also, the steering wheel was very ratty, it needs a Coby rewrap, again he didn't want to invest in that fix. Overall the car ran very well, it is in good to very good cosmetic condition, the owner was honest and had nothing to hide. After we did not come to terms on a mutually agreeable price, the owner told me he would put the car away for winter and try to sell it again in the Spring, and so he has. Bruce

This one at $7K seems awfully like the one I test drove last year when I was looking for my car (May 2014). I'm guessing that it's the same car because the pictures posted on this Ad are identical to the ones that I saw last year (assuming my memory is still functioning okay). Anyway, if it is the same car then don't bother looking at it. The followings are what I remember from the test drive:

- Smoker
- Rough interior condition with torn driver side bolster (alcantara)
- Prior accident history
- Badly repaired left-rear passenger Shadowline trim (looked like someone glued it back using some silicone glue -> very messy job)
- Seller pretended to be a private party but he wasn't

At least car drove fine but I just couldn't trust the guy who was selling the car.
