I'm not sure I'm in the right forum for this but it seemed like the most appropriate. I'm currently in the process of reconditioning my armrest. I was using Mike2003ZHP's steering wheel refinishing DIY as a guide but I've read many others that suggest using a leather sealant to fill cracks. After sanding there is a noticeable improvement even before applying dye but I think to truly realize excellent results I'm going to require a sealant or filler. Can anyone with firsthand experience suggest a product? I've looked at numerous DIY's around the net that suggest basically whatever filler you find at the local auto parts store and I've looked at Amazon but I can't find anything I'm sure is the right product for what I'm doing. The cracks in the armrest are VERY minor and are VERY fine after light sanding but I want to make sure I have the right product to smooth them completely before dying. Can anyone suggest a product?

I'm attaching a pic. The armrest is still a little moist from being wiped down after sanding, hence the appearance of discoloration at the worn area. However, the very minor remnants of racking are visible.

Very dedicated. I just bought a new M3 Nappa armrest top. Haha

It honestly looked a lot worse before I sanded and wiped it. Lots of white in between the cracks that have mostly been sanded out but it still isn't completely smooth. Definitely a savable piece. Just want to make sure I go the right route.

I know most people seem to love Leatherique products but I've had mixed success and received no help when I've contacted them for advice with issues caused by their products. I also refuse to pay $15 for UPS ground shipping for two ounces of crack filler costing $10. Thanks for the recommendation, though.
