Well I bought the car in August and have been putting up with the ill fitting style 137 that came with it long enough. It took a month of searching and researching on what I want and almost just went with a set of e90 m3 reps when I saw these.
Apex's website states that some work is required in the form of fender rolling and camber for the massive fronts based on the lowered test car they have. Well my car is stock but since this is my first e46 I wanted to be conservative on my tire choices to make sure I could fit these as soon as I got them.
The wheels are measured 18x9 et33 front and 18x10 et43 rear. I went with hankook ventus s3 255/35 rear and 235/40 front. Apex contacted me suggesting against the size choice but I felt I should've been ok with minimal stretch.
I am super happy with how they fit but I could have went bigger no problem on the tires. I've got no rubbing on stock suspension so far except one little buzz on the front when I came off an uneven driveway too square yesterday. Can anyone say spacers?:jump16173

Of corse the morning the wheels arrived my thermostat housing let go. Oh well, now the only cooling part I haven't replaced is the expansion tank. Kill two birds with one stone on the lift!16178

Nice! Now you just need to lower it!

That is one aggressive offset! I wish I could run something like with 265s rears. :drool

For sure time to lower it. I know exactly zero about the world of suspension for our cars, so I'm sure it will be a month or so before I make my decision on lowering goodies. Ride quality is big since it gets dd 80% of the time but it needs at least 2 inches in the front.

Thanks derbo, they're pretty aggressive, it was the best way I could get the profile 2 concave for the front and still be staggered. I don't like the way the regular staggered had the flat looking front wheel, not a fan of that look.

Love these wheels. I went 18x9 square so I can rotate and threw on a 10mm spacer on the rear of my M

Yea I hope I don't regret going staggered. I'm thinking of putting a spacer on the rear as well, probably 5mm.

Thanks for all the kind words, I'm very happy how it all turned out for my first set of wheels on my first e46
