Can this be applied by hand or only by power tool?
Thanks!

Even if it can be applied by hand, you'd be doing yourself a HUGE favor by applying it with a DA (dual action polisher). Griots makes one for just around $130 and it is extremely safe/user friendly.

Use a buffer. http://www.detailedimage.com/Auto-Detailing-Guide/Polishing/#buffer

You can apply it by hand if you want but you won't get the results you want before your arm falls off. If you are interested in getting a buffer I can help if you'd like. Just shoot me a PM

you would really be better off using a machine.
Griot's, Rupes, or Flex (http://www.detailersdomain.com/Orbital-Polishers_c_59.html)

Pick up the the Griot's (http://detailersdomain.com/Griots-Garage-6-inch-Random-Orbital-Polisher-Base-Kit_p_683.html) its the best bang for the buck, or the Rupes LHR12 (http://detailersdomain.com/Rupes-LHR12E-Duetto-Random-Orbital-Polisher-_p_1012.html) for more power and smoothness

I got a griots as my first buffer and it was great. Good power and unbeatable warranty. I actually ordered it through Detailers domain during one of their package deal sales. Great deal
