Hello ZHP Mafia :) ,
Myself
I'm Sasi. I work for Ford as an engineer. I moved to Michigan from India a couple of years back to do my Masters. Thus far I've found the place and people to be great. My passion for cars began ever since my undergrad team participated in SAE Baja.
Why BMW?
I've always wanted to drive a sporty stick shift RWD car. I think it is probably one of the best architectures to provide an unadulterated vehicle dynamics experience to the driver. Bimmers in addition to satisfying these requirements perfectly also add daily use practicality. I like the appearance of the e46. ZHP is something I learnt very recently. Going through this forum and reading ownership experiences of the ZHP has definitely piqued my interests for the car. The ZHP looks even more sexy. ZHP>Emma Watson&Keira Knightley? :D
Current and only ride
I currently drive a 2002 Ford Focus SE automatic. As depressing as that sounds, that was all I could afford because I had to balance college expenses. Luckily she hasn't been expensive to maintain so I'm glad she does her job well. I don't think I will sell her because she was my first ever car I purchased in my life and I want to keep her with me & take good care of her. Speaking of taking care, I haven't really worked on cars before but I like fixing things myself. Guess it gives us the sense of satisfaction and achievement. I did a brake vacuum booster replacement job on the vehicle in addition to regular engine oil changes.
Looking for
I'm looking for a well maintained 330i ZHP MT6 under 155k miles with heated sports seats. Also guys, if anyone would like me to check out cars in Michigan, I am more than happy to help. I may not be able to give anyone expert advice but i can say how I felt and probably take it to a ppi place.
Thanks everyone and Dane to have me in the forum!
Sasi.
