Very nice! I love mine! I have the OEM bike rack as well! If I was to do it again I probably wouldn't get the OEM bike rack. Does it hold the bike? Yes. Is it sketchy seeing the bike wiggle back and forth? ABSOLUTELY!

LOL I wasn't planning on getting OEM Bike racks. I'm currently searching for other bike racks to get

I'm currently trying to think of a simple solution to fix the wobble. The problem is that it just has a little strap the holds the front wheel in place, but it can still move side to side. So the handle bars move a bit while driving down the road! It isn't going to go anywhere because the clamp on the frame will hold it, but its a peace of mind thing!

Update, got a set of Style 135s and had them refurbished. Here are some pics of them after repair and on the car! I think that this look looks better than the BBS CKs (on my car). I just think it looks "cleaner".

I agree, I think they look better than the CK's. Might have to refurbish my wheels earlier than I had planned now...

Also, I'm not sure of the exact weight of the BBS CKs, but they're definitely not light, that's for sure lol

So this happened today... I picked up a set of eBay headers from Luca. Install will be coming within the next few weeks. I just have to gather all of the tools I need, gaskets, etc. I will be tackling this install along with some of my buddies. This will by far be the most involved install I've done on the car. I am very excited to hear the sound of these headers paired with the Vibrant Exhaust.

Will be picking up gaskets on Wednesday and will be installing the headers this coming weekend! I also ordered a pair of 90° angle o2 extenders to hopefully keep the CEL off.

Excited for the install! It's going to take a while, but it will be worth it!

I will be returning the o2 extenders. Not 100% sure it will get rid of the CEL, and it saves me $30, so back they go! Install coming this weekend! Picked up all new gaskets today.

So, the headers have been installed. And.... IT SOUNDS AMAZING! Very loud! But oddly, doesn't drone too much when cruising at highway speeds. I have only driven ito maybe 20 minutes total (it's late at night now), but I must say, I am so happy with the results! My girlfriend even asked why I didn't do this mod earlier lol The install took my friends and I about 10 hours total, which isn't too bad considering it was done on jackstands by people that have never done the install before.

AS FOR THE HEADERS! These ebay headers must have been made by someone who knew what they were doing lol they were great quality and fit like a glove. I have seen many people say that they're ebay headers fitment were disastrous, but mine were perfect. I was able to fit all four o2 sensors in the bungs, and the exhaust lined up perfectly without any struggle. I guess I got lucky.

All in all, this is a solid mod. And even though I haven't driven the car too much, I already noticed the throttle response is much better, and can feel an increase on the butt dyno. Best mod to date for sure.

I forgot to get pictures of the headers from under the car and to the exhaust, but that's okay. Sound clips will come soon!

Thanks! And after everything days of driving, I have not thrown any codes yet. Not sure if, or when they will come, but I'm not complaining lol

Oh yes! And the throttle response and power increase feels very nice. I wish I would have done this a long time ago!

Can you do a breakdown of where you/Luca sourced the parts (link to specific eBay account if that's where you got it), rough cost estimate, and any guides you used to get it done? Appreciate it!

We'll I bought the headers from Luca, who got them from a guy on e46f. I talked to that guy and he said he bought the car with them already installed, so I'm not sure who the seller is, but I have a friend who bought ebay headers for his z4, and I believe those are the same as the ZHP headers. Link below!

As far as the other parts used, I ordered OEM Manifold gaskets and exhaust gaskets from a local European shop in Orlando. The cost of all of that was $75. I didn't really use a guide, I just researched a lot before hand and just went after it. I used this video at some points just as a visual.

https://youtu.be/6opyyGs8Kf8

So all in all, I spent about $175 on everything! By far the best upgrade I've done to the car! The car feels alive now. Can't wait to get it tuned.

Definitely wise using the OEM parts for the header install. Did you eliminate the SAP too? No use for that with the cats gone but it will have to be coded out.

I bought the SAP delete plate and gasket, but it didn't arrive in time, so I may just return it and save my money honestly. Not a big deal IMO to delete it.

Update***** Have gone 2 weeks already and still no CEL??? Maybe I got lucky??

IDK maybe it got coded out in a previous life? The latest tune I got from ESS, he forgot to code out the Post O2s and the SAP. The check engine light came on immediately on startup

It's definitely louder, that's for sure. The power increase and responsiveness is great though, and the loudness doesn't bother me. It doesn't drone much either, surprisingly...

Yeah, that pretty much has been everyone's comment when I told them I sold the car... but the header install was a great learning experience so I don't regret anything.

Indeed. I didn't 'need' to get into a truck, but I've been wanting to do a lot more outdoor activities, so it made more sense for me to have one. Also, as a college student who recently got engaged, I want to save my money. So unfortunately I wanted to put my spending habits on hold for a bit. But trust me, I will get into another BMW eventually. My fiancée actually told me after we get married she will buy me another zhp, and it will be SC immediately lol
