All,

I have been having some issues with voltage in my ZHP. Using torque and a bluetooth OBD-II connector, I can see voltage swings somewhere between 0.5V to 1.0V. I would normally expect +/- .1V swings. I have been seeing this issue since late last year with interior and exterior lights flickering. So far, I have done the following things to pinpoint or resolve the issue:

New alternator and voltage regulator (OE reman Bosch unit)
Tested the battery multiple times by Advance Auto; battery is less than 2 yrs old.
Unconnected/disabled LED Angel Eyes

Does anyone have other ideas besides what I have listed above? Thanks for the help!

Check where the ground cable from the battery attaches to the chassis and make sure it is clean and tight.

I wonder if the alt/vr you got is bad?

I'd bet there's a bad connection somewhere that's not quite as solid as it could be. Do you have a sub?

Will do.

Dane, I would hope not. It is Bosch OE Reman. I got it from a great indy shop here in Denver with a huge parts supply.

I used to have the BSW Sub system but sold it. I should double check the connections on the radio to make sure they are solid.

Another question for all: Have there been issues with the blower fan causing voltage swings?

Found it: Driver side memory module.

Time to order a new one.

How did you end up figuring out it was the Driver side memory module?

No kidding... talk about a needle in a haystack.
