Just passing the info along...

For sale is a headlight switch with the rear foglight button.

This switch just swaps onto your current LCM. No coding necessary.

The price is $140 shipped OBO.

Can you post a picture of it here Charlie ?

What are these worth ? $140 just seems a bit high for just a face plate.

Just so you guys know, this exact faceplate is well over $200 at the CHEAPEST. Most dealers are charging over $300 for this part.

This is in reference to NEW parts.

as a reference. I paid $85 for the last one I got off ebay from the UK.

I sold my last two for $120shipped. The Auto ones are harder to find nowadays let alone a UK shipper willing to ship it out.

I think $80-$100 is fair with shipping but that's just my opinion.

Seller provided me more images and accepted a fair offer for the switch.

Does the switch require any further coding if one has the same functions such as auto-headlights.

Yes, requires coding to activate rear fogs. That's it for sedans. For coupes and verts you have to run additional wiring and install bulbs as well as code.

Well...to activate the other rear fog...you get a "monofog" by default lol

Thanks for putting it out there. I was going to get one from the UK but the seller took my offer and I am happy with it.

I'm going to triple blink and drive with my rear fog all day long lol

Well you'd need to retrofit a rain/light sensor. After installing the sensor, the auto lights should work without recoding the LCM.

Yeah there are better deals out there. I got my faceplate with LCM for $70 a few years ago. And then recovered nearly all of the money by selling the LCM with the original faceplate. They are indeed expensive new, but they're not super rare since cars in Europe by law have to have rear fogs.

No coding necessary on coupes and verts. Do have to add the wiring though. I'd prefer a coding solution

The auto-rear fog ones seem to be a little harder to find than the one with manual headlight levels. At least on EbayUK. EbayDE has a fair share.

Can't wait to get it installed and working. Thinking of having both inner lights on for the rear fogs

Yeah they are probably the least common of all the various ones out there, but still usually doable if you're willing to wait a little while.

A part of me is tempted to get one of the plates w/ a manual leveler and code it so that I can adjust the headlight aim from inside the car.

Let us know how that goes! I have an auto faceplate with a leveler in my closet I think.
