I thought I read a thread recently that has a product that worked cleaning/restoring tail lights? My driver's side tail light has burnt LEDs so picked up a used tail light but it could use some cleaning up.
I cant seem to find that thread. Any help finding that thread or product would be much appreciated, thanks!

My fear of metal polish on plastic is the petroleum distillates used in it that could end up destroying the plastic. So please proceed with caution.
My go to for quicker plastic polish would be something like meguiars 105 or similar compound via machine followed by a finer polish.

Nope. I just coat them with the detail wax I use every car wash. Eagle 1 Nanowax.
