Hey all,

My name is Ryan and I am turning 21 in July. I am currently interning at Disney in the middle of my 3rd and 4th year as an engineering student at the University of Florida (Go Gators!).

I just bought my 2005 Coupe ZHP with 75k miles here in Florida. It has been sun beaten and the exterior needs some TLC but she is quickly turning around. I have replaced the rear diffuser, inner fender liner, and tires as well as a fresh oil change. She goes in to restore her "Midnight Blue" (Not sure the exact color name) paint late next week. The interior is in pretty good shape, seats and headliner still look good. First mods to come are TMS rotors, H&R sport springs, hopefully a Coby Steering Wheel, and Apex 18" staggered wheels later on. Being in college, I'd love to throw big brake kits and Superchargers and track coils but that'll have to wait til I have an actual job... Tomorrow I'll upload a couple pictures after work, thanks for allowing me to join the mafia!

It's great to be a part of the family, and I appreciate all of your help ahead of time. The forum is already giving me inspiration of what to do next.

Congrats on finding a ZHP and welcome! Yes, we all love photos here so post some up when you can.

(Also, official paint color/code are on the front shock tower under the hood on a sticker. This is the most accurate way to tell exactly what she is.) I suspect Orient Blue, but that's my best guess with the "midnight blue" note above.

Welcome Ryan! Definitely get a project thread going for your car, sounds like you have some solid starting plans for her even if it's just tlc, a lot of basic things go a long way with these cars, new headlight lenses for example.

Funny we have two new members from basically the two parts of the country I'm most familiar with...nova and central FL..driving to see family in Melbourne/Indialantic/Cocoa for the weekend.

Here she is! I will start a project thread soon, and cocoa should be really nice this time of year! Orlando is unbearably hot and humid right now...

Welcome Ryan! I am located in Central Florida also. We should definitely link up sometime and hangout! There are a few other members here that live in Central Fl. as well! Great looking car! And definitely get the Coby Wheel! It's the best thing I've done to the car so far!

Thanks all, the car is Monaco Blue according to the decal on the strut tower. Tried to vinyl wrap the roof to save the money it would cost to paint but the Florida humidity isn't going to cooperate.. FL116 We should definitely meet up at some point, I plan on heading to the Celebration Cars and Coffee I heard about recently for sure.

Welcome, nice car, was this the one that sat at the small used dealer in Orlando for a while?
