So today I was driving and when I would let off the gas I would hear a whining noise from the front. It would diminish and eventually disappear.

Read it might be a wheel bearing but this happens on straights as well so I ruled it out - rolled down the window to check.

Seems like signs point to throw out bearing?

Also starting to hear a sound when I press the clutch in without the engine on - like a squeak?

LOL - the car's starting to sound more like an animal with all this whining and squeaking.

I thought throw out bearing was more a rattle in neutral especially when car is nice and hot. At least that is the symptom for my car and I have had that for 5 years. If I like go of clutch pedal really slow, noise is not there.

I also have some noise when I push clutch in with engine off.

do you maybe own some kind of secret supercharger? that would clearly explain the noise :dunno ;)

LOL I wish I had a secret super charger.

Seems like the electric fan was not seated in it's tab in the middle and passenger side and was rubbing against the AC drive pulley. I'll check back in once I fix this.
