What color ZHP would you get?

If you could get a professional paint job for free! What color would you slap on your ZHP?


I really love my Imola Red, I'll probably throw on the same color.. or Mauve Purple!
I think the purple would compliment the sedan a lot! any other color wouldn't work for me

i honestly love my jet black ZHP, sapphire black would be nice. but if it was a BMW color that isn't offered on the ZHP, id have to say techno violet without a doubt. would look stellar parked next to a techno e36 M.

Edit: This is what I think of when I imagine an Interlagos Blue ZHP.... my dream E46 sedan :drool But as Botond was keen to point out JeppeJ's sedan (pictured) is LeMans Blue. Okay, I'll take either LeMans Blue or Interlagos Blue....they both make me :drool

I love Alpine White with Natural Brown, I love Sparkling Graphite, and I love Silbergrau. I love Mystic, too. The blues are purdy.

I do like Imola, but I just can't do red. I generally drive pretty fast, so would no doubt lose my license in no time.

Nobody's mentioned Laguna Seca... Maybe wouldn't look so hot on a ZHP.

The very first time I ever saw a BMW in person that made me think, "OMG, that's a %^%$$# hot car" was an E46 M3 in Laguna Seca with black leather. I just thought, "man, this thing looks like a serious car. A race car. And it has four seats!" This was way back in 2004 or 2005. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was actually one of the triggers that set me off on this journey, first learning about the 3-series and M3's, then 330's, and ultimately the ZHP and this site.

Man, I loved that Laguna Seca M3. I'm pretty sure there's no way I'll ever find one that hasn't been rode hard and put away wet, and even if I do find one, I probably won't want to pay the price.

I think the ZHP would look good in Estoril (I realize this isn't a ZHP, though it looks like one) - definitely unique!

I'm right there with you. I think I would trade my silbergrau for AW with natural brown.

Also Laguna seca is one of the top sexiest colors in the world. Saw one with sub30 miles on it awhile back, showroom condition, listed for close to 40k.

The only color I wouldn't paint over with a totally different color would be Imola II. Quite frankly in my humble opinion it's the perfect red, and would be a sacrilegious and excommunicating offense from the Family to paint over it using a different color. Truly :facepalm worthy in fact.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool blue fanatic. And the perfect blue in my brown eyes is, and has always been Le Mans. It's a true blue akin to a blue sapphire diamond in that it cuts as deep into the hue without giving off purple undertones that the deeper, darker blues (i.e. Orient, etc.) tend to emit under certain lighting.

I still love to drag out old pics from a bygone era of the sadly departed LMB 135i from time to time. Lovely color!

So my dream would encompass taking any non-Imola (although still nice) ZHP and immerse and bathe it in a Le Mans dip. Then if it didn't already have Natural brown, rip out the interior and replace it with NB.

LMB with NB............now that would be a dreamy combo.

Of course, Techno-Violet or Daytona Violet with NB interior would be totally hip too.

Everyone probably has one that got a way.........and that will likely always be the one I regret the most. But I've always been a sucker for LMB, since it was at one time an ///M only color before the E8# and E9# era. I know you can't keep them all, but somehow I always seem to be $10K - $20K plus one garage space short. :crying
