View Full Version : Shadowline trim clip wrong part?

I used real oem and bought the part number that corresponded to the shadowline trim clip.

It apparently isn't the right one. It's very similar but it is very loose when I put it into the frame work. Am I missing something along the lines of the install process? I've had problems before with plastic clips not working even when matching the part number on realoem. For example I needed the plastic clip for the M3 side skirts and they didn't work either.

I'm not sure that this is the answer, but do you press in the center pin once it is in the car so as to spread the clip out making it snug in the car?

You do push the center pin to expend the Clip

Yeah I figured that out like 2 min after I posted this. Sometimes you just gotta walk away for a few minutes. I hope the admins delete this because this is the most embarrassing thread I've created lmao

OR, a great learning experience and I'm sure someone else has had the question. Just didn't ask.

Glad you solved it!
