Hi everyone,

Finally decided to sign up after ghosting these forums for 2 years. I've been reading these forums quite a bit for inspiration and every time I've fixed something on my car. The info is great and the people are great.

I bought back in 2013 a silver grey metallic 2005 330ci M package. My dad had owned an 04 Zhp 4 door with BMW's 3 piece wheels (style 71) and I loved that car and learn to properly drive stick with it. That's why I decided to get my own when shopping for my second car.

I've haven't done much to it because I bought the car knowing it had all I wanted from factory. Now has 175,000 kms on it. Otherwise, black kidney grills, color match reflectors, Led license plate, tinted side indicators and some other simple things. Also got some Conti ExtremeContact DW's that are great. Most of my efforts were put into preventive maintenance (suspension, water pump, belts, pulleys, sensors, valve cover gasket, intake boots, oil separator, and most recently oil filter housing gasket).

I'd like to get new suspension and wheels next but haven't found any in budget to daydream about.
Anyways, long story short, I look forward to being part of this community.

Your fellow Canadian owner,

Welcome from Ottawa! I think we should have a Canadian mafia meet now that we have a few members from Ontario/Quebec region.

Oh I disagree. I'm surprised by how many people actually do say it, along with the typical Canadian accent. At least in Ontario...

I've met over two dozen personally at the track (and were locals). Most of the folks I met spoke like that.
There have been plenty of other folks I've interacted with as well around town (gas station store attendants, restaurant workers, hotel staff, etc.).

That's an awfully high percentage, man. :p

Even my Monster drink that I purchased before crossing the border back into the U.S. said it...

Thanks guys. Loving the stalker pic alex.

I'd be in for a Ontario/Qc meet, as long as it's not wherever AZ went and found all these funny speaking canadians :P What track brought you up here?

Calabogie! I want to try Mt. Tremblant next year; from what I hear, it's an amazing track. Maybe the year after I'll do Mosport... tour Canada's tracks. :biggrin

The last thing I need is more supervision... Charlie does enough of that for me. lol

BP, Tremblant is a very nice track. Extremely technical with many blind corner and elevation changes. Def worth it, I want to go there in the next few years with the ZHP. You should also stop by the village for a good time :)
