I've decided to sell my second set of Stett boots. One set was installed on Colin's car but these have never been installed and are still brand new. Asking $120 shipped to US addresses.

These are black.
Pics to follow (if you don't know what they look like... :-) )

I don't even have an e46 and I'm thinking of buying, these will be unobtainable very soon, if they aren't already. Compare the corrugated inside of your stock intake boots to these with a smooth inner surface, the corregated inner surface interrupts the air flow or at least creates some turbulence, less turbulence in your air flow means better, more efficient air input to the engine, better air flow means more fuel can be mixed more efficiently, more & better fuel/air mixture means more power. But I digress, ignore this one so Shawn practiacally gives it to me...

Guys are dumping these pretty fast. I'm keeping mine installed.

Thanks Bruce. I never installed these and may do so if they don't sell. Unless Gigi could use a set on the new X5!

"guys are dumping these pretty fast".

I was interested in these until I read that. Seems like a brilliant idea - silicone intake boots probably last forever.
What's the downside and why would someone dump them? Do they alter the driving dynamics/throttle response at all?

Just curious, as I've never seen these and they seem brilliant.

They're fine, just a PITA to get it to fit right. May require trimming, patience, and some trial and error.

I love mine! Had no real issues getting mine to fit. I had to trim the coupler to my gruppeM.

It's a great price.

+1. Dane's quote on my FS thread is probably not the best sales pitch...

And my car has fairly new OEM boots.

I have mine installed currently and never plan to un-install them. They're a great product that improves the performance and longevity of the zhp/intake system. I should have made it clear that those that dump them, only do so, because they don't want to put forth the extra effort required to install them properly. This is not a dig on anyone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on these boots. As I've completely derailed the thread, these boots are no longer for sale. Merry Christmas Justinwilson77.

Shawn, please PM me your payment information and please accept my apologies.

Will these work with the BMW Performance Intake? The stock upper boot is a pain to fit onto it/the MAF.

Hi Dane. :)

Hi Dane. :)

Yes, but need to be trimmed a bit. I have them on my son's car with that setup.
