perhaps, but that's $450CAD - at today's exchange rate, $338USD. shipping would be worth it...

That's a bargain..... those are beautiful. They'd look great in an E36. If I had somewhere to store them, I'd hop on it....

Maybe use them as furniture in the apartment? Now that's an idea....

Hm...too bad they aren't automatic seats. I would consider these, since I'm local.

If I wasn't so caught up on Natural Brown, I'd have these in my possession right now. I liked the rarity factor of the cloth/alcantara stock seats, but hated the alcantara since it wears like crap. This would've been my direct replacement. I also don't mind manual seats - the power ones take an eternity to adjust.

I have a 95 325is that i'm having a cage installed for next year's track season as we speak. What modifications if any are needed for these to work in the E36?

I'm I the only one that isn't hyped on these?

They'd be cool if the cloth had some type of M color pattern but they are just boring black.

You aren't one to seek out the rare stuff, that's why you're not hyped over them. They're black, which isn't my preferred interior color, but I'm still hyped about them because they're rare. I do whatever I can to set my car apart from others, so the rarity factor is IT for me. :)

Trust me, I enjoy rare stuff. I've owned a harlequin golf, owned a set of Image wheels that were the only set in the western hemisphere, amongst other things lol. For being something that's rare they don't stand out or have any pop, which kinda sucks

I second this. I am not as hyped up as the rest of the others. My aunt actually has them in blue or dove. I personally value leather more but more power to you guys who claim this but I also enjoy rare items like my bmw performance gear. =)

+1

It's already a pain keeping the steering wheel clean, don't know how everyone with the alcantara interiors do it...would lose my mind plus would have to constantly be worried about water or liquids getting on it.

Mine actually stays very clean. Helps banning people from sitting in the back and only transporting the GF haha

The first ZHP I saw in person had alcantara. That grabbed my attention, totally different from the usual interior.

Doesn't protect against wear and tear, which is the biggest issue with alcantara.

Biggest issue with alcantara is it getting dirty and matted down from oils/dirt. At least it wont dry out or crack. Yeah it might rip/tear but that comes down to how you get in and out of the seat.

Bolster wear happens no matter if it is leather or a fabric.

We had cloth centers in our X5 sport seats. We loved it. So much better than all leather

What car were these in? European zhps? Or was it just a special option? Are these "more rare" than our Alcantara interior? My drivers side bolster is ripped and being in Wisconsin I think shipping would be cheaper than most other states. Might have to consider...

No US E46's had cloth available from the dealer. You couldn't even order it if you ordered the car brand new.
These are prevalent in Europe, and occasionally you'll see them in Canada though I think it's rare there as well.

Emailed the guy... he said shipping would be roughly $200 but could get me an exact figure if I was serious about buying. I guess I need to gauge interest first in selling my alcantara interio.

Description says "full" and that it includes rears. Odd there are no pics.
