Hello ZHPmafia glad to be a new member on the forum I found this site a while ago while looking for 330's and it got me more interested in the zhp package, about a year later finally found a 2006 Silbergrau Metallic 330ci ZHP package. Has 90,000 miles on it and runs strong, the only down side is it didnt have the original 135m wheels. I only got this one picture i took with my phone after I washed it. will post more soon

I saw that actually had a question before I went in on that, is there more of a preferred size not looking to lower my car wonder 9" all around or 8 in front and 9 in the back?

Welcome. Staggered setup like that promotes understeer, which is 'safer for most drivers'. I prefer a square setup myself.

First, welcome! You'll find this place full of friendly people and useful information.

As for the wheels, it depends what you want. What tire sizes do you want? Our stock tire sizes are 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 front/rear on 18x8 and 18x8.5" wheels, respectively. As johnrando said, that stock staggered setup i.e. smaller width tires in the front compared to the rear promotes understeer which is considered to be safer for the average driver. If you want more neutral handling characteristics you might opt for a "square" setup i.e. tires (and usually wheels) all of the same width. I'm planning to pick up a set of four 17x8.5" wheels in the group buy, and wrap them in 245/40R17 tires. That tire size is ever so slightly smaller than the stock size.

Really it comes down to what your goals are, both in aesthetics and performance. If you have other questions, you might want to look into my thread on the topic here: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?16922-Apex-ARC8-17-quot-vs-18-quot-Offset-and-Tire-Size-Questions

Thanks for all the welcomes!

I am looking more into performance, there is actually a lot I was thinking to do to this car wondering if I should start a new project thread. Had it for a month and have the bmw diagnostic program to see whats going on, I already got some parts that I needed like my oil sensor was bad and my ccv was covered in oil so I already got those parts my intake boot had a crack in it got a new one, just making sure everything is up to par before I really get into it but also was wondering if im changing my parts for new ones should I get quality performance parts, like mishimoto silicone intake boot set up and radiator hoses (do they last and is it worth it?)

Start a project thread. It's helpful to keep all that info in one place.

APEX ARC-8 17" wheels would definitely give a performance boost by being about 10 lbs lighter per corner in unsprung weight, depending on your tire selection.

Other people here have Mishimoto intake boots and can talk about them, but what I remember is they may take a little cutting to get them to fit properly.
