I'm starting to get a little concerned about the gas situation there in the southern areas. From what I understand, gas may be getting hard to come by - is this still the case?

There was a slight shortage last weekend but, I think that was panic driven. They are suppose to have the line fixed this week and they were trucking additional supplies.

I need to be in town in the morning so, I'll check out the situation.

You can check out The Loveless Cafe http://www.lovelesscafe.com for some great southern food. We had dinner there for the first time a few weeks ago and it was fantastic and the service was fast and good. They said the place packs on the weekends and the wait can be a couple hours but, it's well worth it. If your lucky you may even see a country music star there.

I got gas this morning with no issues. Shell was up .20 for regular and others (Speedway/Walmart) were up .24 & .29 for regular. Still restrictions on $55 max transaction. A little congestion but probably normal for 8:00 AM.

I just finished up work for the week and now time to start final preparations for the 2016 ZHPMafia Family Reunion. Weather looks great but, a little brisk at night so, bring a sweatshirt along.

It's been raining today, so I just went to the car wash for a quick high pressure wash and then brushed the wheels a bit. It will also rain tomorrow. It will arrive a bit weathered. Also, discovered a previously unseen rust spot under the right rear taillight. :(

Getting a Canadian visa should not be a big deal for you - especially if you have a steady job in the US and can prove that you are going to return after the trip.

Entering the US and being questioned on your religious beliefs and asked to hand over your phone, social media passwords etc...yeah thats the main thing you need to worry about.

I'd be game for coming on down with Scarlett or The Girl with No Name if it's still warm enough.

The first two weeks of October 2017 are bad as I'll be in Europe on business, but the second half of month could work. It's only about 450 miles from Madison, WI so could be done in a long one day drive. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we don't need snows as PSS tires suck in the cold and wet/ice/snow.

google maps says 10.5hrs for me, which would be about 8hrs for toronto folk.

we're away october 5-9, but another weekend might be possible. i assume we'd head down on friday and come back sunday... i'm pretty much tapped out on vacation time this year so that's probably what i could do.
